When you have a virtual event, you have two Check-in options: (1) Check in candidates yourself, or (2) Candidates check themselves in. You can access these options from the "Check-in Center" on the event page.

To have candidates check in for a virtual event, select the "Candidates to check in themselves" option and the following two Check-in options will appear:

  1. Scan QR Code - This will open a unique code for your specific event, which you can ask candidates to scan on their phone.

  2. Select “Copy Link” - This will copy a check-in link, which you can share with candidates in a chat box along with the code. Candidates can enter this information in a web browser.

Tip: Screen-share this page over your video conference to have candidates check-in.

In either case, candidates will use the QR code or link to complete a 15 second sign-up! This step is essential to collecting candidates’ data so that you can later track analytics, follow up with emails or job applications, and keep all data from your events in one place.
